In 2016, ICOMOS Shared Cultural Heritage Research Center(Wuhan)/Wuhan Research Center of Shared Cultural Heritage (ICOMOS-WRCSBH) made great efforts to promote signing of related MOU between Wuhan Municipal Government and UNESCO, and launching related teaching, scientific research and construction of pilot project of urban renewal practice in Wuhan region, of which related teaching, scientific research and social practice works include:

Teaching and training of cultural heritage protection professionals (Inc. HUL core concept, methodology and contents of practice), public propaganda and education (The theme is the relation between cultural heritage protection and urban sustainable development) including children and adults, organizing related forum (e.g. 2018 HUL International Forum) and dialogue communication (The theme is industrial relics protection and development as well as HUL promotion), field visit and exchange of related international and domestic projects (The theme is industrial relics and HUL), teaching course for master's degree (The theme is industrial relics and HUL), doctoral and post-doctoral research projects (The theme is industrial relics and HUL), mutual exchange of teachers and students in international teachers network project, and construction and promotion practices of HUL pilot project in urban renewal of Wuhan.
