The 1st Wuhan Fashion Week

      From November 29 to December 1, 2012, 2012 Dongfeng Fengshen Wuhan Fashion Week was presented magnificently.

       This Wuhan Fashion Week, under the theme of “Future East, Fashion Wuhan”, upon the advantage of Wuhan of scientific research, education, market and industrial base in the field of fashion and other fashionable consumables, is to establish incubation platform for self-owned brand and exchange platform for international and domestic fashion industries, to promote the heritage and development of traditional Chinese “Oriental” culture in fashion industries as well as to further form “Wuhan Brand”, making Wuhan high-end elements gather and radiation center of domestic self-owned fashion industry, domestic fashion city and trendsetter. 

The 2nd Wuhan Fashion Week

       The 2nd Wuhan Fashion Week of 2013 was held from November 14 to 17, 2013. This fashion week activities include seven modules such as opening ceremony, design competition, fashion show, fashion summit forum and salon, fashion exhibition and order, citizen participation and closing ceremony. Many China and foreign fashion shows, professional competitions and relevant professional activities, especially the selection of “Wuhan Fashion Landmark” held for the first time and widely participated by vast citizens are unusually brilliant with highlights.

The 3rd Wuhan Fashion Week

       Wuhan Fashion Week, held from November 5 to 9, 2014, aims to interpret the core theme of “Fashion Wuhan, Different Every Day”, promotes urban culture and image with fashion language and boosts the rise and development of fashion industry with multidimensional originality. The activity planning and design highlights features of internationalism, professionalism and inclusiveness, which mainly includes dynamic show and static display of well-known brand enterprises and designers both at home and abroad, “Wuhan Fashion Tour” held at such trend landmarks as Chu River and Han Street and Wuhan Tiandi, CCDC fashion designer competition, fashion design competition participated by world-famous schools, summit forum of fashion industry, Wuhan fashion expo, etc. 

The 4th Wuhan Fashion Week

     Wuhan Fashion Week was held from December 5 to 15, 2015. Then, top fashion designers and supermodels both at home and abroad would come to attend Wuhan fashion show. Furthermore, Wuhan local designers and “the second generation entrepreneur” of Wuhan style clothing would present several original fashion shows.

       This fashion week is hosted by the People’s Government of Wuhan Municipality, takes “Creativity Driven, Fashion Change Life” as the theme, highlights such elements as “Internet+”, “buyer economy”, “creativity, entrepreneurship, originality”, “the second generation clothing entrepreneur”, “the new generation designer” and “industry investment and financing”, etc.
