In the past ten years, the "East + West" International Design Week has been successfully held for 5 times. The "East+ West" originates from the cultural blend and collision between East China and West China. The culture of East China and West China convergences in Wuhan, a city which earns the reputation of "thoroughfare for nine provinces".

       The "East + West" International Design Week Biennale Series Activities which have been held for five times in the past 10 years have attracted a large number of outstanding designers and students at home and abroad to participate in, and has produced good influence and earned much reputation in the international design culture and design education field. We will be committed to the integration and exchanges of the international advanced design ideas and oriental spirit of the design work, and deepen the construction of "five cultural cities" in Wuhan, and enhance the influence of Wuhan in the international arena.
