Zhao Yali, the Ambassador to Uganda, Attends the launching ceremony of Wuhan-Uganda Sister City Communication and Skill Training Project

Recently, Ambassador Zhao Yali attended the launching ceremony of Wuhan-Uganda Sister City Communication and Skill Training Project. Seventy people attended this activity, including the Minister of Education of Uganda, Minister of the Ministry of Finance, Mayor of Entebbe City, Ugandan trainees in China, and leaders of Uganda Huacheng Mining Industry.

Ambassador Zhao Yali congratulated on the pragmatic cooperation between Wuhan and Entebbe which sets a good example for provincial communication between China and Uganda. Mr. Zhao said that Ugandan social development depends on professional technical talents, and talent cooperation between China and Africa is one of the Ten Cooperation Plans announced by Chairman Xi Jinping on Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. He said that China would like to provide aid and support for job training and human resource development in Uganda, and hoped that Ugandan trainees in China could make achievements and contribute to Ugandan state building.

 

The Minister of Education of Uganda is making the speech.

 

Ms. Alupo, the Minister of Education of Uganda, Mayor of Entebbe, and Ugandan trainees in China expressed their thanks to Chinese government for its support for Ugandan talent cultivation. Uganda would like to enhance the communication and cooperation with China in education field. Uganda is implementing the professional and technical talent plan, and they appreciated this opportunity provided by Wuhan government. The trainees will make efforts to study and contribute to Ugandan state building.

Upon the invitation of Wuhan government, the government of Entebbe City in Uganda will assign twenty students to Wuhan for one-month training, and they will learn the skills required in machinery manufacturing, information technology, wood carving, and agriculture.
