Huge black and white hull, retro smokestack, metal rivet shape...... By the end of 2016, the "Zhiyinhao" steam cruise ship appears on the river of Wuhan which can accommodate 1008 passengers. Tourists can board the cruise ship to experience an amazing journey through culture.

"Zhiyinhao" is the first large-scale theme show cruise ship built in 1930s style on the Yangtze River. It's divided into three layers, and it's 120 meters long, 22 meters wide, and 15 meters high. It's produced with traditional process, operated with wholly electricity-driven firepower, and equipped with side thruster so that the cruise ship can achieve a 360 degree U-turn. The design and decoration style completely imitates that of the cruise ship on the river in the 1930s, which enables visitors to experience the old culture of Wuhan.

"The whole cruise ship is a stage for performing cultural drama of "Zhiyinhao". The three layers of hull space with distinct features, the brightly lit main deck restaurant, and hundreds of shaking rooms, sketch a dream space floating on the water." The relevant person in charge in Wuhan Chaozong Culture Tourism Co., Ltd. tells reporter that tourists can change an old ticket in Wufu Tourist Dock, take an old newspaper (program list), and board on the "Zhiyinhao" cruise ship. They will travel between the First and Second Yangtze River Bridge on the cruise ship, and enjoy and perform the old Wuhan style.

It is reported that, "Zhiyinhao" cultural drama is invested by Wuhan Tourism Development Investment Group, and created along with Fan Yue, general director of national "Impression Series", and core creative group member of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Fan Yue, a famous director and crossover artist, said that the creation of "Zhiyinhao" has inherited the creative spirit of "Dare to Be the First, Pursuit of Excellence" in Wuhan. The story in the drama is based on Wuhan in 1920s-1930s, with Zhiyin Culture (develops from the story between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi who are bosom friends) as the theme. In the design of the performance situation, story unpredictable to the audience has happened, or is happening, or will happen on every deck and in every cabin space of "Zhiyinhao". The Yangtze River, ship and dock are clues and backgrounds. During the journey, the audience and the actors merge into one another, exploring the plot together, and experiencing the whole process of finding, discovering, meeting and reuniting, which is finally condensed into real feelings that can touch the soul of the audience.

Fan Yue also introduces that "Zhiyinhao" is creating two museums: one is the city memory of Wuhan; another is the long lost soul emotion in people's heart. Stepping on "Zhiyinhao" which is full of story, people will fit in it, and complete the collision of city, life and love together with performers, hitting the mind directly.
