After preparation for half a year, the Wuhan Cultural and Creative Industry Association in the charge of Publicity Department of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee of the CPC was formally established on September 15, 2010. The Association will bring in funds to build the first cultural and creative business incubator in Wuhan and strive to establish the largest artwork and artifact market in Central China.

The 120 enterprises in cultural and creative industry, including Changjiang Daily Press Group, Wuhan Broadcasting and TV Group, Wuhan Publishing Group, www.cjn.cn, Wuhan Innovative and Creative Economy Institute, Wuhan Optics Valley Creative Industry Base Corporation and Wuhan Animation Association attend the meeting.

It is reported that the Association will establish creative industry propaganda center, talent training center, business incubation center, project promotion center, information consulting center and right protecting center, providing services including industry investigation, setting up of service platform, quality certification and professional talent training for enterprises in creative industry.
